Willie Fritz is an award-winning actor, copywriter and designer. He studied Drama at the Pretoria Technicon, after which he became a full-time actor at the Cape Performing Arts Board (CAPAB.) During his five years at this institution, he played a huge variety of roles, ranging from Touchstone in As You Like It and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet to modern and experimental South African productions like Blitzbreker and the Chicken from Hell and Piekniek by Dingaan.

He has also appeared in a number of musicals (Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to the Forum and the rastafarian Machiel in Kinkels innie Kabel, Andre Brink’s brilliant South African adaptation of Twelfth Night.)

Willie has acted in various South African television series like Koöperasiestories and Arende as well as intenational series like the Canadian/South African co-production Charlie Jade.
